Can we … Be Kind To One Another?

Stress, anger, pressures, frustration, … on and on, has exponentially transformed this world into something it was never meant to be.

And yet, things don’t have to be that way. Every aspect of life, every decision, every opportunity, every battle, every war … is but a choice.

Will we be kind to one another?

If we choose “yes”, then calm, optimism and good things can happen. Growth, bonding, friendships, true profit, can materialize.

If we choose “no”, then anger, vitriol, pride, selfishness, can, and often does, destroy. Life dissolves into an endless spiral into obliteration for one’s self and for those around us and beyond.

We can choose. And our every, and sometimes perceptively small, choices, can materialize an impact that can affect whole people groups and generations.

About 60-63 AD, the Christian apostle Paul wrote this in his letter to the Ephesian church, to counsel them in this essential truth:

Be kind to one another,
tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,

as God in Christ forgave you.”
(Ephesians 4:32 ESV)

As this website develops, we are looking to encourage you and others to develop attributes in your life that affect every aspect of your life with pervasive kindness.

If you’re at work, at a construction site, at an office, in the military, at home, leaders, followers, wealthy, impoverished, in a classroom, on the road, men, women, young, old, any and every race, creed, ethnicity, nationality – “whatever / wherever / whoever” … we would encourage all to put away all malice and anger … and would therefore … be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.

Please consider every thought you think.
Carefully consider each and every action and path you choose.
With ever greater care and forethought, consider every word you say.

As you proceed at every aspect in your life, ask 3 questions prior to anything you say, think or do:

Is it necessary.
Is it true?
Is it kind?

Execute this quick test of these three questions. If your situation fails the test, stand down. Be strategic – do not relent.

Develop the habit of kindness. It will take work and effort on your part. Remember, kindness is a choice you choose – no one else can do that for you – get on it! Perfection of kindness is a life-long quest. If kindness becomes part of your personal character and ethos, many things will become smoother with greater clarity. Also, be sure to remember the last part of Paul’s verse “as God in Christ forgave you” (the source of all kindness, predicated on trusting in what Jesus did on the cross for you.)

While we all fail in the execution of this, recurrently, we should never lose focus to strive for accomplishment in doing what is right. Never give up, never lose sight, focus on the goal. Lock grip and never let go. You’ll be glad you did. You can do this!

– Stop back – we’ll be updating things to encourage you – ever onward.
